Oh, and I wanted to correct something from my post yesterday. That nasty looking snow squall was on the drive home from Missouri. The speed limit on I-29 is usually 75 mph, and we snaked our way north, single file, at about 40 mph (except for those poor folks who slid off into the ditch!). BUT, about 40 miles south of Grand Forks, the snow stopped! We were spared this little provocation and could leave our snow-blower snoozing in the garage.
Even if we get more snow, it won't last now. Now, the ground is not frozen, the sun is more intense, and these plants are going to start emerging all around us! (someone cue the hallelujah chorus here now!)
Yay Spring! It's always so exciting to see the first little signs of new life coming out of the ground in the Spring!
ReplyDeleteYippee!! I need to go check on my tulips tomorrow to see if they are poking through the ground yet!
