I am so enjoying my Nikon 105 2.0 micro (in Nikon-speak) lens! Today, after a good 45 minutes of Pilates, I headed to my yard, and laid on my stomach to take these photos. (the Pilates was necessary so I wouldn't get "stuck" on the ground again like last time!) Last time, the scilla were not in bloom; now they are and Pat was so right! These are prolific little critters and I may have to reduce the population this year to keep them from taking over! But in the meantime, they're the only thing blooming around here right now! I cropped the 3rd one in because I'm so amused by reflections in drops of water!
those are great...i love the water drops.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome.. great job..
ReplyDeleteAngela--Whoop! Whoop! Love the reflection in the 3rd shot! Good for you! Scilla are great for getting waterdrops in the curl of the petals, so keep an eye out for that...
ReplyDeleteLove that third shot. Glad you didn't get stuck on the ground.
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! You have great focus and I love seeing the reflections in the cropped shot!

ReplyDeleteawesome. those water drops are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Angela! Great reflections.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the official word from my mom is that I went from very quiet to suddenly very bubbly around 6th grade...and "God forbid I should ever throw out one of your papers," whatever that means.
What bright colors and love the water droplets!
ReplyDeleteHiya Angela, I just wanted to say all your photos are soo stunning!!
