Day 212: The Road Back Home from Long Lake

The area around Long Lake, which is near Lake Itasca, MN, is so beautiful. Had we been there at night, we would likely have heard loons.

    Man, the long and not-so-winding road. At least there was some scenery along the sides! Love the dock shot and the reflections of the railings. Very cool!

    Love that dock shot - so peaceful looking. I love listening to the loons at the lake. One of those summer sounds I really miss in the dead of winter!

    That road just looks like it goes on forever...just miles and miles. It looks so quiet, and it gives me such a warm feeling. Beautiful perspective.
