Yikes! We had a wringer washer at our summer cottage, but at least it was a washing machine, and not the boards. I do see the wringer in the back, though. I can't believe all those women had to do just to get through a day.
And this, because it's just so incredibly moving and inspirational!
Can you believe our ancestors had to do that? We have it good!
