I went out to visit these bad boys today, and they're just as wary of me this winter as they were last winter. I think it's really funny the way they seem to post a few sentries, while the rest all "subtly" make haste away from me. The "softness" in front of the sentries are their steamy breathe in the cold.

Oh, I remember these guys from last year! Nice shot--they are huge!

ReplyDeleteWow! Are they just wandering around or are they fenced in on a farm? I have always thought buffalo were really dangerous but they actually look peaceful here.

I cannot even get over that those are REAL. They are so big and beautiful. What a wonderful capture.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cool to see those guys again, I remember them from last year! Too funny about them posting a few guards while the rest run away, they are so much bigger than we are (plus there is a HERD of them) that it cracks me up that they are afraid. ;)

ReplyDeleteYay, I love the buffaloes! I'm sorry they're not like my friendly cows who come up to the fence when I stop by, but I love this composition. Maybe if you keep going back they'll get used to you.
