Before: Just an alley in Grand Forks. I just thought it had an interesting perspective.
I shot this in auto mode with my 18-135 mm lens at 62mm; ISO 400; f/5.3; exp 1/500.
After: I then used Ren's color booster (juicy) action (below).

This one was with Ren's color booster action (below).

Thank you for all the wonderful comments I've been getting, and the commiserating over the weather yesterday! Tell me which you like best!
You're right...very cool perspective!! I think I like the contrast in the last one best! Cool shoot!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot. I really like the perspective. My favorite one is number 2. I really like the colors.
ReplyDeletecari
Nice shot!
ReplyDeletelike the last edit the most!
ReplyDeleteI like the juicy best! Looks like a great place for an urban session!
ReplyDeleteCool perspective! I think I like the last one best... it's not quite as bright to me.
ReplyDeleteI like the 3rd shot the best; the color is deepened and intensified, but doesn't compete with the perspective down the alley. Nice eye.
ReplyDeleteLove the 2nd edit the best! Love the alley!!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela. Can I say once again how fun it is to see familiar scenes? I like the second one - something about the red that pops out to me!
ReplyDeletegreat job with the actions!
ReplyDeletelove the shot too very artsy!tara
oh, yeah, cool alley. i love the action on that second one.
ReplyDeleteI love the juicy one! LOVE the color pop! Great job with this shot, it's really cool.
ReplyDeleteI think I like number 2 the best, I wish we had alley ways here. That is a cool backdrop.
ReplyDeleteI am always partial to pretty much SOOC, so I like #1 the best; #3, to me is the best of the 2conversions with the non-juicy color. The shot itself is from a great perspective - very nice! ML
ReplyDeleteIt is neat the way it seems to keep going. I like the third the best. I was going to say the second one, but it's a bit bright for the weather and this scene seems like it should be darker anyway.
ReplyDeleteVery nice color boost. I like your SOOC as well as your edits.
ReplyDeleteI love these narrow shots. Its amazing what you find when you actually look at sometimes. My fav is the last one. The color and the focus is incredible.
ReplyDeleteA.
The second one is best out of the two actions by far. It shows the details much better.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really good shot.
The last one is my favorite. The colors look the richest in that one. I like the perspective on this shot too. It pulls your eye right into the center and end of the alley.
ReplyDeleteFrom someone who doesn't "get" all the photography talk...I like the third one the best. The colors look more intense to me and I don't know, somehow convey a mood.
ReplyDeleteI think the perspective of the photo is fantastic.
You are very, very talented!
I like the pp of it. Its nice to see different shots. TOni
ReplyDeleteGreat alley, love the actions! Cool shot!
ReplyDeletebeen looking for one of these 'alleys' near me---very fun!!! nice edits too!
ReplyDeletethat is a very cool shot..i think i like the 2nd on the best. great job.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool shot! I love the conversions you did on it.
