Shot in manual, using my 35mm 2.0 lens at f/4.0; ISO 400; exp. 1/10; custom white balance, tripod.
Again, manual mode, with 35mm 2.0 lens at f/5.6; exp 1/8; custom white balance, no flash, with tripod.
If you were shooting something like this, feathers, which of your lenses would you have chosen and why? Thanks!

really love the first one, such pretty colors
Those feathers are so colorful! I love these. So crisp and sharp, too.
I would probably use my macro to get all the details. Wow...what beautiful coloring, I like the vertical best.
I would choose the 50mm 1.4 lens, since it takes the best pictures in the world! lol... I have a 24-70L and would choose my 50mm any day over it~
That is wonderful! I am not sure what lens I would use.
Cari
My lenses? 14-45 but if I had my choice of any lens I would probably pick a macro lens.
LOVE these photos, so colorful and really nicely composed. I really like the horizontal one.
definitely a macro. simply to get the details. i like the vertical also--gives a sense of the size.
Nice, both of them. However, since I am partial to macro, I would definitely use my macro and get all the wonderful incredible details.
I love the feathers, they have so much color..
I like the vertical shot better - not sure why, though! I would use my 50mm lens (because it's always on my camera!). Great photos, Angela! Love the colors and details!
I'd grab my macro because I love macros of colorful things like this, but I like the wider angle you chose because it made it look like a creature face! Looks great against the color of that wall.
i think i would have chosen my 85mm because it's probably my most favorite lens. love the colour and bokeh i can get with it.
great pictures!
These are cool! i think if I was shooting these, i would have used my 50 mm 1.4 wide open so i could get the eye looking part in sharp focus and try for a really blurred BG of everything else.
Such pretty colors!! think I like the first one best, great job!
i like the horizontal one. the centers of the feathers almost look like eyes
Your pictures are incredible
