Day 253: Election 2008- - Are we Coming or Going?

Sometimes when you listen to the rhetoric of this election, don't you find yourself wondering whether we're coming or going? Who knows anymore what's "image management" and marketing, and stuff we can trust.

Well, here's Doug, and it's not exactly clear whether HE's coming or going. But he sure is cute, and this old vehicle was at the East Grand Forks Heritage Days event.


I'm fond of "fiction" when it's a photoshopped photo, with a little color adjustment and defog. But that's it. Not when "fiction" is presented to us to manipulate us into voting for one party or another. So if anyone can come up with a good "defog" action to wade through the political mythology of this past week, let me know. In the meantime, I'm keeping my "bullshit" detector close at hand.

    I hear ya. There is so much conflicting info out there right now, who knows WHO is telling the truth? Maybe they both are liars. ???

    LOVE this shot, that is a beautiful old car and him looking through it backwards gives a cute little bit of unexpected humor. :)
