Day 207: Day Lillies

Do these seem overly-popped to you? Day Lillies from the garden. . . .

My world is righting itself after being couch bound of a week. I've missed seeing what photos you are sharing! The lilies look nice to me and I loved the title of the one post "the huband whisperer."

All of your stuff impresses the heck outta me!

They do seem a bit over exposed but they are so pretty is doesn't bother me.

I always have a hard time with the yellow flowers so I am no help...I am liking these though!

Dare I say they look a bit too much for me.... I just like a bit darker, less saturated look, but that's just personal. I thought it might look great with the texture you used on the sunset, which by the way was a great picture!

I like these Angela, but for me they are just a tad bright. But, I know that there are some really bright lemon varieties of daylilies--I have one in my garden that is just about this shade.

As a recovering over-color-popping addict, I would say it's a little bit bright because some of the details in the petals are missing. I really like the combination of green and yellow and the composition here.
Don't worry about me, Angela, when I'm not around next week. I'm just going on vacation, and not to the ER. :-) I am going to try to pre-post like you did when you were away, though.

PHEW!!! This bright yellow is so delicious. They do seem a bit over saturated, but I like it because it almost seems like an oil painting. They definitely did give me the morning sunshine today!

If you don't want them to bright...try underexposing a tad.

I love those flowers! But I do agree that some of the details are lost, so it might be a little too bright
