More Fowl Appearances of the Unusual Sort and Professor Bonnie's Book Review

This is a duck. This is a duck that was standing in my driveway this morning! For no apparent reason! I've lived here for 25 years, and have never, ever, seen a duck standing in my driveway. Or on my block. Or anywhere in my neighborhood! Just standing there, looking at my house (of course.) I don't really know Which Side this duck is on, but since it wasn't dismantling my house, I'm going to assume in was standing sentinel on MY side. An owl recruit, no doubt.

There are times when you've just got to call in a professional. Professor Bonnie is taking an instructional role in teaching me more about LAB in photoshop, in part because of her affinity for all things "lab."

Oh, and I botched it yesterday, not correctly embedding the link to the video I wanted to show you on LAB mode, so here it is again today.

Ha ha ha. So weird! He looked friendly enough though...cute too. Today we had a random cat in the driveway...it stayed, and sat on my car for 6 hours and then left. He was cute. I forgot to take a picture (one of those days)

And Bonnie! You are such a smart doggy. I hope she will give us all a personal tutorial when she is done reading.

ROTFLOL! Maybe unbeknownst to you and Doug, you are growing some sort of birdnip! That Bonnie, what a gentle, patient friend.

Bob said he recognizes that duck. He thinks you should check your pictures of the ducks at the marina on Eagle Mountain Lake. He followed you but it took him longer to get there.

We see these ducks all the time in the Spring. Usually a male and female pair - they like to swim in our fish pond.
Maybe with all of the flooding earlier this season there's extra water around.
I think Bonnie should teach the LAB course - she's a natural!

What a pretty duck! Your doggy sure is a good sport :)

Maybe the duck is really a decoy...ha ha ha ha ha... It's probably just an owl in disguise!

And who better to teach you about LAB color than Bonnie! She looks so wise with the mortarboard on her head.

And once again...thanks for the good laugh from the comment you made about the prom picture post. Loved your alliteration! :)

If you see the duck again ask if his name is Mr. Quackers. Ours is missing looks just like him. I bet he would be tired of flying if it were him. Your dog is such a good sport.

And the plot thickens...!!! ducks and owls (definitely secret society-ish). Glad to see Prof. Bonnie is boning up on her knowledge of LAB color. (drum roll and cymbal!)

ROFL! Bonnie looks like she will make a grrrrrreat professor someday! ;) And the "owl recruit" is too funny... he/she definitely looks like a british guard, pacing in front of your driveway, keeping watch... :p

Ha, that's so funny. I wish a duckwas in my yard rather than the racoon I saw. Your dog is adorable.

Too funny, your house is attracting a variety of birds! The duck sure has some pretty colors. :)
