Our PhotoWalk at Como Park

Part of our Scrapfest weekend included a "PhotoWalk" at Como Park. The beauty here is just stunning, and, as a photographer, it's important to remember to Stay Calm and Breathe!

More of the stunning beauty:

I also discovered how utterly dependent on my GPS I am now! Strangely, I managed to pull the power socket out of my dashboard, and the Subaru dealer near the Mall of America quickly got me in, removed part of the dashboard, and replaced it! I didn't want to drive the Venza to Minneapolis until Doug manages to get the first ding in it.
Thanks for checking Dianna's blog yesterday. She turns 21 in India on September 27th, with only one other person in the world from her school with her. If you have a chance, please stop by her blog and wish her a happy birthday! My Sweet Daughter Celebrating her 21st Birthday all alone in India

Ok, breathe, Pat. The leaves on those first waterlilies are incredible! They look like square confetti!! Love the variegated ones, too, and that reflection pool---ooooh!!!! Glad to see the older indoor part is still the same. Imagine that filled with tulips, hyacinths, daffies, croci, etc, in the depths of winter. BLISS!!!

Oh wow! That glass house is just lovely. I would love to be inside it. I think I have seen pictures of a wedding there actually. It looks very familiar.

I love these photos of Mary Ann and Rina. There's sweetness in their expression and contentment. I really, really like these.

I can just imagine how you must be feeling about Dianna. We will be with her in spirit and for sure will wish her a happy birthday.

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful place! I adore the photo of the blooming waterlilies. In my next life I'm going to have a pond with koi and waterlilies in my garden :)

Wow! Oh my goodness, what a place of beauty and how talented are you to have captured it so perfectly!

Your sisters are gorgeous, too. They look very content and happy and you captured them beautifully, too.

Wow!
