Look! I'm on theme with an animal picture tonight! Poor, old, arthritic dog. 13 1/2 years old--I hate to make her go out in the snow and cold.
Oh no! She's stuck in the snow! It's too deep for her! I'm going to have to go out there and help her back to the house! This is NOT good!
Oh, wait! Watch out! Incoming! Where'd all that energy come from?
Oh, right! Now she's going to roll around in the snow! Crazy dog! Come on; I want to go in; I'M freezing!
18-135 mm lens at 105 mm, ISO 200; f/13; sunny white balance; ss: 1/125. All shot RAW, manual mode, hand-held.

So fun. You can tell she's a love. I cracked up at your journaling.
I've been gone a few days so catching up. Congrats on the Macro - how exciting!!! Did you get my email? Lazy day at home - really needed it. Also need to get more creative with my pictures. Yours look amazing and always so fun! Keep in touch!

LOL, how fun!! Looks like at first she wasnt sure to like the snow or not.
Love this series of shots. Glad you didn't have to go out there to rescue her! Looks soooo cold!:) Sweet dog!:)
Oh my the thought of having to go in after her. Boy do you have snow. She does look like she enjoyed it.
Looks like she had fun! That snow would wake me up too ;)
those are too funny! I love the one where she is running towards you!
There must be something about undisturbed snow that brings the kid out in ALL of us! I love this series of shots and the journaling you wrote to go along with it. You should definitely create a page with these!
Great shots!
I'm going to love this week; I'm a total sucker for animal photos, especially dogs. These are so fun. When my last dog was old and infirm, it was like snow was a fountain of youth for her.
She is so sweet!!! Love dogs!!
I love the bounding in the snow shot. Reminds me of a dog I use to have...
What a great shot of your pup. He always blends right into the snow he is so white. From those last few photos you couldn't tell him was 13.5!
what a pretty dog!!!!!!

What a sweet dog!! Love the 2nd to last one!
Ha ha. Poor dog. I remember growing up in SD my dog getting stuck too. We used to say he got "high centered" again.
haha that's hilarious..i love your journaling with the pictures. i love dogs.
Very nice shots! I like that first one especially.
She's a beautiful dog and sure looks like she's full of energy in the one she's running towards you!
I love the one of her "stuck" in the snow... we too have been dealing with that with Simon. She looks like a typical lab though still a puppy well into old age. I always say you have just got to love a Lab!
