Day 88 Psalms and Palms

In keeping with our theme of Faith this week, I thought I'd post a photo that reflects my all-time favorite Bible Study class:

We dubbed it "Psalms and Palms" because a number of us had the Bible loaded onto our palm pilots. A palm pilot, by the way, is excellent for searching phrases or passages in a Bible!

I just have to say that some of my buddies on twopeasinabucket.com are scaring me! You have said such nice things about my photos, which I really appreciate and love reading. But thinking that snirt is pretty????? All I can say is, I'm gonna pray for you!

you and my DH would get along well. He's got the bible loaded onto his Palm as well. I read a proverbs everyday because there are 31 of them and it is fun to read the verse of the day. I do like Psalms as well.

I love that it's on your palm pilot. I never could get into using a Palm (used DH's old one and ended up giving it to DD.)
Let's see, Mom jeans. I could never describe them as well as the original video. If you google for a Saturday Night Live Mom Jeans commercial, you'll see what I mean. :-D

i've always loved that verse. so peaceful.

That is my favorite and most comforting verse. When ds was in hospital it was the only thing I could read over and over and actually concentrate on it.

Great take on the theme, I love that you use your palm pilot for your psalms(and more). :)
I will stand up here and now and proclaim to the world that I do NOT think snirt is pretty or cool or anything other than an ugly nuisance to celebrate only when it is gone.

Eh, don't worry about ME- I think snirt is ugly too! :p

LOVE the "psalms & palms" thing- how amazing that technology has us reading Bible verses on our palm pilots now! Who'da thunk it?

My DH has his scriptures on his Palm. Drives me nuts; I want mine in my hands where I can feel the pages and hear them as they turn; I am very tactile.

Oh, how witty! :) I bet the great Biblical scholars and theologians of old never thought the the Psalms would be on a Palm Pilot! LOL

Cheers,

How cool that you have it saved in your Palm Pilot! I have a Treo phone with Palm, I wonder if I could do the same. Btw, I love that verse too!

lol... snirt that is funny. No I do not like snirt either, GREEN PLUSH GRASS is what it is all about.

That is one really cool thing about technology it is gives us endless ways to provide us the stuff that counts.

What a superb idea! I love to see what you are up to on your palm. My DH has one and couldn't live without it. I, on the other hand, can't even figure out how to turn it on! LOL.

Hey I've got the same pda! Mine looks all worn and scratched probably because I do all my reading on it as well. I haven't gotten the bible for it, I'll have to look into that.

Love that shot. My husband looks up scriptures on his phone. When he does it in church, I always tell him people are going to think he's texting or playing Solitaire!:) Love the Psalms.
