Not Exactly Our Front Porch

But we were really, really tired! And waiting in Lowes for the window-writer-upper to finish adding up the massive amounts of money we would owe for our new windows. We wandered off to wait, and discovered, tucked away in a corner, rocking chairs under the shelves! The perfect resting spot instead of randomly looking at doorknobs or paint samples!

He certainly looks blissed out--comfy seating in a hardware store; a man's idea of heaven. Right?

Oh, I've wanted to do this so many times - those home improvement stores are so large and the concrete floors - yep, I'd be right there rocking along - totally embarrassing my children. (thought for a minute, however, your DH was hiding to avoid that awkward encounter with the pricer-fixer-uper dude who knows what his choice of tittie-whittie /briefs is.)

LOL, sometimes ya gotta do what you gotta do. And I can only imagine how pooped y'all were after getting through the ordering process!

I've never seen rockers at my local Lowe's or Home Depot. How fun! And economical, too: If you are not wandering up and down the aisles, you are not remembering to add to the cart extra lightbulbs, batteries, an extra house plant, a knob, a hook, a whatchamacallit that you keep forgetting to get for the bathroom . . .

Hahahaha....what a great picture. I always feel like I have to sit down when I go to the home improvement store as well....why does everything add up so quickly!

Is that a look of bliss on his face? Or that he's gone off his rocker thinking about the cost of the windows? I prefer the bliss of being able to sit down and relax!

Too funny! (especially that YOU take your camera to Lowe's)
