Wacipi

Most every year, UND sponsors a Wacipi, a Native American pow wow, and this years was the 40th annual Time-Out and Wacipi. It's a weeklong celebration of American Indian customs and culture. The entries into the Wacipi demonstrate traditional dance, drumming and regalia. These are some of the grand entries:

I remember some of the photos you've taken before. Can't wait to see more--the traditional costumes and beadwork and amazing.

I would LOVE to be there right now. I love their music and dancing and all the color is amazing. Can't wait to see more.

I used to go to the Pow wow's in Denver. I love the colors of the costumes and the sound of the drums beating. Very cool!
