RiverWalk, San Antonio, Texas

Call me dramatic, but I'm beginning to think that there are huge swaths of our country that are not. . . well. . . . frozen! This is San Antonio, Texas, and Doug and I had the wonderful good fortune to get to go to a conference there this past week.

The RiverWalk is listed in 1000 Places to See Before You Die. But you could almost die of bliss, just being there in March! This first photo is of one of the RiverWalk tour boats that motors along for about 40 minutes along the walk.

Doug and I got back to Grand Forks last night, and we're still bracing for the blizzard that should be moving into our area tonight. When I got off work tonight, I scraped about 6" of snow off my car.

We lived in SA for 4 years, we just moved away. We loved it there! Beautiful shots of the Riverwalk. Texas is definitely a good place to visit in the winter, LOL!

My DH was looking over my shoulder and totally knew where this was at. He was telling me about it and it sounds very cool! Hope you had a nice trip.

Seriously....that place almost looks like heaven compared to my back yard. The snow this year has been awful! I just love your posts, and it always seems like you guys go on the best adventures.

Yep, Texas is great in the winter. In the summer....not so great. Glad you were able to get a little bit of warmth to tide you over til Spring.

I've never been there, but that looks like such a beautiful place. And not frozen! We got about 4 inches of snow yesterday. This time of year, it does melt within a day or two...but still. I guess I should get outside and take some pictures of it!
