I love this place! I want to head back there and explore it further on a day when I have more time.
We were headed to Bergeson's, a glorious nursery stuffed to the brim with perfect plants; 2 quonsets alone are filled with geraniums.
I can't say much about the "welcoming committee" that crossed the road in front of us, however. . .
It's important to note that these are TURKEYS and not vultures, given my recent history with foul fowl.

Can't be THAT fertile with the small population...hee, hee. Love the new banner photo! Much more uplifting than your snowplow. *Ü*

Hugs!
Heh! Funny! I like your new header too!
Ha ha, with a name like Fertile, you'd think there would be more than 893 people! Looks like an interesting little town.
Love the welcoming committee ~ great name for a place.
Sounds like my kind of town with a population like that! ;) I'm very glad you met "nice" fowl this time..teehee.
I am a born and bred Minnesotan--how come I have never heard of Fertile!! Great captures--makes me want to visit!
I love your new banner!
I never knew Fertile was the name of a place! It made me giggle a little :)
It is officially spring - like the new banner. Sounds like an interesting outing. Love the town's name and welcoming committee.
You got turkeys walking around??!! Too funny!!! And love the name of the town!! :)
Those turkeys are much prettier than the ones by us. Ours are vultures and relly ugly.
What a funny name for a town! Reminds me of Intercourse, PA, another small town. :)
Looks like a really interesting place! And those turkeys are huge!
