Chimes

These beautiful chimes are on the St. Olaf campus. They make a music that just transports you to a different pace, different state-of-being. It can be windy and cold, but hearing them, standing under them, even though noisy,is soothing and peaceful. Think I want to build one in my living room. . .

That more than anything makes me think of Rose from the Golden Girls. I bet she hears that music in her head. ;)

I love, love love chimes so much! Any and all are so wonderful to me and I can only imagine how beautiful it sounds standing under them.

Those are beautiful pictures. but I admit my mom loves wind chimes and has them all over and they make me crazy!

How neat! Love the sound of chimes (but we live on a golf course and my husband would have a cow if I did this - I do sneak in a small one and strategically hide it) I bet these sound fantastic - great composition of your shots.

Those are awesome...though I don't know about the living room idea lol. I would get tired of it when I couldn't hear my Real Housewives of NY..it's a sad life ;)
